DAY 2 - 3: rome

Explore the amazing, vibrant city of Rome at your own leisure or ask us about adding a tour or two.

From the beautiful Trevi Fountain, the epic Colosseum, delicious pizza and ice cream in the windy streets of Rome, you will have endless options to fill your day!

Day 4 -6: Florence

After breakfast, catch your scenic train ride from Rome to the breath taking city of Florence.

Check into the Kraft Hotel for the next 3 nights. The hotel is located in a quiet but central residential area in Florence, just a few steps away from the historic city centre. The hotel also has a panoramic outdoor pool heated in winter located on the Roof Garden.

Don't miss out on visiting the iconic sights like the the "David" sculpture, Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, Piazzale Michelangelo and of course enjoy the pizza and ice cream.

Day 7 - 9: Venice

After breakfast, catch your scenic train ride from Florence to the the iconic city of Venice.

LGBTQ in Italy

Italians by nature are well known for their open-mindedness and welcoming, friendly nature and LGBTQ travellers will find Italy is largely accepting. Same-sex relations have been legal since 1890, however it is in the past two decades that LGBTQ rights have significantly advanced with civil unions legally recognised in 2016. Same-sex marriage along with other LGBTQ rights remains today a contentious political issue.

Travellers visiting high-touristed areas such as Milan, Venice, Florence and Rome should have no problem in expressing themselves and enjoying a hassle-free holiday. It would be recommended to practice caution with regards to public displays of affection when visiting smaller towns or rural areas though, in line with an overall more traditional or conservative approach.
