So who are we?

Well, we have been in travel for over 20+ years, to say it is a passion is an understatement. We believe that travel has the power to change, when you go somewhere new for the very first time and get lost in a new city, a new culture, a new way of doing things; it changes something inside you. It opens your eyes, lays a path of understanding, of love, and of gratitude, for the experience itself, as well as your home, your own background, and your own city. You see things with new wonder, fresh eyes, and new understandings. We have the privilege of living in this great big, beautiful world, filled with beautiful people, and it is our wish everyone could see just a little bit of it.

Of course, the standard practicalities of travel apply, we are experts in what we do and have 24-hour support, access to preferred rates, and special deals, similar to any other travel agency.

Then there is gay travel, it is unbelievable that it is still criminalised to be LGBT+ in 70 countries globally, and you could be given the death penalty in 12 of them. In contrast same sex marriage is legally recognised in only 29 countries. That being said, the severity of laws being imposed, as well as social acceptance, can vary greatly country to country. Whether travelling for business or pleasure, it is imperative LGBT travellers understand and recognise both the social and legal norms within the country they intend to visit.

We want to bring the world together, have fun, celebrate life, enjoy every moment and be free to be ourselves, however we identify. We want to know that we can book a double bed, that we can hold hands by the pool, that we can sneak a kiss in the cab and that we will always feel welcome, respected, and safe.

This is why we started Out Travelling, born on passion, built with purpose. We are here, we are queer, and we love to share the beautiful experience that travel is, can and should be!
